Jacob Gibson Receives NABC All-Region Honors

SEARCY – Harding guard Jacob Gibson, a senior from Jonesboro, Arkansas, was named National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second-Team All-Region on Tuesday.

Gibson, the Great American Conference Player of the Year, led Harding with 17.3 points per game and set a school record by making 92 3-pointers. He was also the Bisons' team leader in field goals (181) and steals (37).

Gibson's honor is the seventh NABC All-Region accolade received by a Harding player since 2002. Andraz Kavas was a second-team honoree in 2014-15. Other Harding players to receive all-region were Aaron Farley (2002, 2003); Matt Hall (2007); and Stephen Blake and Kevin Brown (2011).
