Harding won the last meeting between the teams 5-4 on Feb. 28, 2014. Southwest Baptist was ranked No. 35 at the time. It is Harding's only win over a nationally-ranked team since rankings began in 2003-04.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR                                                            
Harding is looking to remain unbeaten at home this season Friday when it hosts 31st-ranked Southwest Baptist at 1 p.m. in a matchup of Central Region teams at the Harding Tennis Courts.

Harding is 3-0 at home and has outscored its opponents 25-2.

Southwest Baptist will be its toughest home test this season. The Bearcats are members of the Division II Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and are located in Bolivar, Missouri.

Harding has played two other nationally-ranked teams this season, falling 7-2 to 19th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney and 9-0 to 14th-ranked Northwest Missouri St.

Harding's winningest player in dual matches this season is freshman Chase Stumne, who is 8-2 overall, including 7-2 at No. 6 singles. He has won three of his last four.

Southwest Baptist boasts the 46th-ranked singles player in Division II in Sherif Abohabaga, a sophomore from Cairo, Egypt. Abohabaga, the No. 2-ranked singles player in the Central Region, is 15-4 in singles matches this season.

Harding enters the match ranked eighth in the Central Region. Southwest Baptist is sixth.
