BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – No. 7 seed East Central's low-post game proved too much for No. 2 Harding on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Great American Conference Tournament. The Tigers defeated the Lady Bisons 62-48 and move on to meet Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday in the semifinals.

Harding concludes its season with a 17-10 overall record.

East Central (11-16) controlled the glass, outrebounding Harding 47-35 and had 14 offensive rebounds. The Tigers outscored the Lady Bisons 19-3 on second-chance points and 34-16 in the paint.

Harding struggled with its shooting throughout the game, but used a 20-11 scoring advantage to take a 41-39 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Mackenzie McNamara hit a 3-pointer with 6:20 left that gave the Lady Bisons a 46-45 lead. Harding did not score again until Lundon Williams made a layup with 20 seconds remaining. Harding had three players foul out as East Central went on a 17-0 run over that stretch.
