Harding Men's Tennis Meet Southeastern Oklahoma on Friday at GAC Tournament

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Harding men's tennis will open the Great American Conference Tournament on Friday. No. 3 seed Harding will take on No. 2 seed Southeastern Oklahoma at 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Park Tennis Complex.

Harding concluded the regular season 11-6 overall and went 2-2 in its four GAC matches, including a 5-4 victory over 38th-ranked East Central in its last match. The Bisons are ranked seventh in the ITA Central Region Rankings.

Southeastern Oklahoma is ranked 24th nationally and third in the Central Region. The Savage Storm finished with a 10-2 record and went 3-1 in GAC matches. Southeastern's only loss came 5-4 to top seed Ouachita Baptist.

Southeastern and Harding played on April 2 in Searcy with the Savage Storm winning 8-1. The Bisons' lone point came at No. 6 singles, where freshman Chase Stumne defeated Tiago Ferreira 7-5, 6-4.

The winner of the Harding-Southeastern Oklahoma match will take on the winning of No. 1 seed Ouachita Baptist and No. 4 seed East Central on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the championship match.
