SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team swept Southern Arkansas 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-14) Tuesday in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
Harding improves to 24-3 overall and 12-1 in the GAC.
Southern Arkansas falls to 8-20 overall and 1-12 in the GAC.
The Lady Bisons have already sealed their spot in the GAC Tournament November 16-18 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. With four GAC matches remaining, Harding will be fighting for seeding.
FIRST SET
With the first set tied at 13, Harding went on a 7-0 run on four kills by Taylor Mounts to lead 20-13. The Lady Bisons had back-to-back kills and a solo block by Zoe Hardin to win the set 25-16. Harding had 17 kills in the set and hit .484.
SECOND SET
Harding put the second set out of reach midway through when it went on a 4-0 run to lead 22-15. The Lady Bisons went on to win 25-16. Harding had 17 kills and hit .485 with only one attack error in the set.
THIRD SET
Harding took an early 5-1 lead in the third set. Southern Arkansas did not get any closer than four the rest of the way as the Lady Bisons won the set 25-14.

- Harding was led by Taylor Mounts who had a career-high 18 kills and hit a career-high .516.
- Zoe Hardin added nine kills, hit .474 and had four blocks.
- Harding was led on defense by Selena Foster who had nine digs.
- It was the eighth time this season the Lady Bisons have hit over .300 in a match. Harding hit .381 Tuesday.
Southern Arkansas
- Southern Arkansas was led by Alexia Southern who had seven kills.
- Alexa Bass had 19 assists and 12 digs for the Lady Muleriders.
