No. 8 Christian Brothers Makes 15 3-Pointers, Defeats Harding Men's Basketball

SEARCY – Eighth-ranked Christian Brothers made 15 3-pointers, including five from reserve Brad Miller, and defeated Harding 74-59 Saturday in nonconference play at Rhodes-Reaves Field House. It was Harding's final game before heading to Hawaii for two games next weekend.

Harding (0-7) had an eight-minute stretch in the first half without a field goal, missing 10 consecutive shots, and Christian Brothers pulled away with four consecutive 3-pointers. The Bucs led the Bisons 30-16 at halftime.

Christian Brothers (9-0) shot 8 of 15 from 3-point range in the second half and led by as many as 25. Two late Harding runs cut the Buc lead to 12 with just over a minute left, but the Bisons got no closer.

Harding's Tim Wagner led all scorers with 20 points. He was 8 of 14 from the field and made four of Harding's seven three pointers. Reggie Anthony added 10 points.

Reserve Brad Miller was a perfect 5 of 5 from long range and led the Bucs with 19 points. Luke Rudy came off the bench to add 17 points, and Joe Laravie scored 15.
