Harding Men's Tennis Wins Home Opener 8-1 over UAFS

SEARCY - Harding men's tennis played its first home match of the season Saturday and reeled off an impressive 8-1 victory over UAFS of the NCAA Division II Heartland Conference.

Harding won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches. The Bisons' lone loss came at No. 1 singles where Alejandro Sendra won the first set but had to retire in the second set with an injury.

Harding won four of the singles matches in straight sets. Pablo Trevino won a third-set tiebreaker at No. 6.

Harding will be in Springfield, Missouri, next weekend to take on Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Drury on Sunday at noon.
