Harding Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight, Blanks Hendrix 9-0

CONWAY, Ark. - Harding men's tennis won its third consecutive match Thursday with a 9-0 shutout of NCAA Division III Hendrix indoors at the Hatcher Tennis Center.

Harding improved to 3-1 with the victory, and Hendrix fell to 0-3.

Carlos Crisostomo and Alejandro Sendra played together at No. 1 doubles for the first time and won 8-4. Brandon Hogland and A.J. Barrington won 8-1 at No. 2, teaming in doubles for the first time. Neto Cacace and Adria Abella played dual doubles together for the first time and won 8-1 at No. 3.

Harding won all six singles matches in straight sets. Barrington became the first Harding player to win 10 singles matches this season with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2. Cacace won his fourth straight singles match 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4.

Harding's next match will be its first against a Division II opponent. The Bisons will meet Mississippi College on Feb. 16 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
