RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the league's Athletes of the Week for the fourth week of the women's outdoor track & field season. Oklahoma Christian's Lawanda Harvey captured the Track accolade and Harding's Emily Shell garnered the Field honor.
GAC WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Lawanda Harvey, Oklahoma Christian, Fr., Frisco, Texas
Harvey recorded a pair of NCAA Division II provisional qualifying times in Texas State's Bobcat Invitational. The freshman ran an 11.99-second time in the 100 meters to meet that standard and her time of 24.53 seconds in the 200 meters also met the standard for that event.
GAC WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Emily Shell, Harding, Fr., Bella Vista, Arkansas
Shell turned in Harding's lone top-five finish in the field events at the Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational, as she took fifth in the javelin. Shell's best mark came on her first effort, 115'0'. She set a personal best and ranks as the third-longest throw in the GAC. She also competed in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles as well as the long jump.

- Raianne Mason, Jr., Harding (Ran the fastest 400-hurdle time in Harding's NCAA era, 1:04.62 in placing fifth in the event)
- J'Cee Holmes, Jr., Rogers State (Ran personal-best times of 4:55.24 in the 1500-meter run and 18:34.57 in the 5000)

- Jordan Caulkins, So., Southwestern Oklahoma State (Cleared 1.52 meters in the high jump at the Hardin-Simmons Invitational)

GAC MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Baylor Harvey, Rogers State, Jr., Cleveland, Oklahoma
Harvey registered a time of 14:20.39 in the 5000-meter run at The Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Thursday. He took fifth in the event and defeated 17 NCAA Division I athletes. He earned an NCAA Division II provisional time with the fourth-fastest time in Division II this season.
GAC MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Josh Syrotchen, Harding, Sr., Spokane, Washington
Syrotchen again hit the NCAA Division II Automatic Qualifying standard in the discus with a mark of 59.53m at the Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invite. His defeated the field by more than 13 feet. He also posted the second-longest hammer throw in the GAC and the fifth-best javelin effort. His discus toss ranked as the fifth best by any collegiate athlete from the weekend.

- Justin Stewart, Fr., Oklahoma Christian (Beat six DI jumpers and finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters)
