HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Harding volleyball team defeated Tuskegee 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-7) and Alabama-Huntsville 3-1 (27-25, 25-19, 16-25, 25-19) Friday in the Hampton Inn Providence UAH Classic hosted by Alabama-Huntsville.
Harding improves to 3-0 on the season.
Tuskegee falls to 0-1 and Alabama-Huntsville falls to 2-1.
TUSKEGEE MATCH
FIRST SET
Leading 12-8, Harding went on a 6-0 run to lead 18-8 and went on to win the set 25-12.
SECOND SET
With the set tied at five, Harding blew the game open with a 12-2 run to lead 17-7. The Lady Bisons went on to win the set 25-14.
THIRD SET
Harding opened the third set with a 6-0 run and quickly made it a 23-5 score. The Lady Bisons won the set 25-7.

- Harding was led by Taylor Mounts who had 12 kills, no attack errors and hit .800.
- Rachel Heussner had 18 assists and led the defense with eight digs.
- Harding hit .386 in the match with 43 kills.
- The Lady Bisons held Tuskegee to hitting -.183 in the match.
Tuskegee
- Takeba Dowden led Tuskegee with five kills.
- Zahria Radford led the defense with eight digs.
ALABAMA-HUNTSVILLE MATCH
FIRST SET
Trailing 21-12 to open the match, Harding battled back to take set 27-25. The Lady Bisons had seven kills and two blocks during their run.
SECOND SET
Harding jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the second set. Alabama-Huntsville cut the lead to 21-17 until Harding took the set 25-19.
THIRD SET
With a 14-12 lead in the third set, Alabama-Huntsville closed the set with an 11-4 run to win 25-16.
FOURTH SET
Alabama-Huntsville pulled within two 17-15 in the fourth set but Harding didn't allow the Lady Chargers to get any closer than that as the Lady Bisons won the set 25-19.

- Zoe Hardin led Harding with 16 kills. She also hit .455 in the match.
- Rachel Heussner captured a double-double with 40 assists and 10 digs. She also had two service aces.
- Taylor Lake led the defense with 18 digs.
- Harding had a season-high eight blocks.
Alabama-Huntsville
- Anna Claire Johnson led Alabama-Huntsville with 12 kills and 10 digs.
- Hayey Hop led the defense with 20 digs.
