RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team fell to No. 24 Arkansas Tech 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-16) Tuesday in Great American Conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 12-2 overall and 1-1 in the GAC.
Arkansas Tech improves to 15-0 overall and 2-0 in the GAC.
It was the third time this season Harding has played a ranked team. The Lady Bisons win came against No. 23 Washburn 3-2. Harding also fell to No. 15 Central Missouri 3-0.
FIRST SET
Arkansas Tech took a 12-9 lead in the first set before Harding battled back to tie the set at 17. With a one point lead 22-21, Arkansas Tech went on a 3-1 run to win the set 25-22. Harding had 16 kills in the set and hit .268.
SECOND SET
Arkansas Tech took an 11-7 lead in the second set and didn't look back as the Golden Suns won 25-14. Arkansas Tech forced seven Harding attach errors in the set.
THIRD SET
Harding kept the third set close in the opening points until Arkansas Tech went on a 9-1 run to lead 16-8. The Golden Suns went on to win the set 25-16. The Golden Suns had 17 kills in the set and hit .368 with three attack errors.

- Taylor Mounts and Emily Clayton each had seven kills in the match.
- Rachel Heussner had 23 assists and 13 digs for Harding.
- Taylor Lake had 12 digs.
- Harding hit a season low .104. The Lady Bisons had 30 kills and 18 attack errors.
Arkansas Tech
- Allie Anderson and Tabitha Spray each had 11 kills for the Golden Suns.
- Amanda Milnick was close to a triple-double with seven kills, 36 assists and 16 digs.
- Hunter Eshnaur also added 16 digs.
- Arkansas Tech had 11 team blocks in the match and was led by Lexie Johnson who had six blocks.
