SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team improved to 2-1 in Great American Conference action after defeating Arkansas-Monticello 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-15) Thursday. The Lady Bisons improve to 13-2 overall.
Arkansas-Monticello falls to 5-8 overall and 0-3 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding jumped out to a 12-2 lead in the first set after winning the first five points. The Lady Bisons kept Arkansas-Monticello under 10 points in the set as Harding won 25-9. Harding hit .441 in the set with 16 kills and one attack error.
SECOND SET
Trailing 3-2 in the second set, Harding won the next three points to lead 5-3. The Lady Bisons didn't look back as they won the set 25-15. Harding held The Blossoms to hitting .088 in the set.
THIRD SET
Harding took a 10-3 lead in the third set before Arkansas-Monticello battled back to cut the lead to three, 11-8. The Lady Bisons closed the set on a 7-1 run as they won 25-15. Harding hit .464 in the set with 15 kills.

- Harding was led by Zoe Hardin who had a match-high 11 kills and three blocks.
- Rachel Heussner picked up the double-double with 32 assists and 11 digs.
- Taylor Lake also added 11 digs.
- Harding had four service aces in the match.
- The Lady Bisons hit a season-high .430 with 45 kills on 93 attempts with five attack errors.
Arkansas-Monticello
- Arkansas-Monticello was led by Aubrey Harrison who had seven kills.
- Toryn Cox had 19 assists and led the team with nine digs.
