Harding Men's Soccer Ends Nonconference Schedule with Loss at Christian Brothers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Harding men's soccer played its final nonconference game of the season Friday, suffering a 3-0 loss to Christian Brothers at Signaigo Field.

Christian Brothers' Xavi Lao scored once in each half, netting a penalty kick goal in the 13th minute and adding his second goal in the 78th minute. Felipe Rodrigues scored in between, notching a goal in the 51st minute.

Harding fell to 8-5-1 with the loss, while Christian Brothers improved to 6-5-3.

Harding had eight shots in the game, three on goal. Christian Ramos and Riley Mayes had two shots each.

Harding used two goalkeeper Friday, with Aric McKinney playing the first half and Michael Wasson playing the second.

The Bisons will be back in action Tuesday against Ouachita Baptist. It will be Senior Night at Stevens Field. The winner of the Harding-Ouachita Baptist game will host the Great American Conference Tournament beginning Nov. 2.
