Nehemia Too Wins 3,000 Meters at Arkansas; Makes Bid for Nationals Qualification

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Harding freshman Nehemia Too took advantage of his last chance to qualify for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championship.

Friday at the Arkansas Qualifier, Too lapped the field in the 3,000 meters to win in 8:07.77.

Too's time ranks in the top 10 in Division II and is the second-fastest indoor 3,000-meter time in program history. It was just off Artur Kern's school record of 8:06.69, set on the same track in 2007.

The top 16 times in Division II will qualify for the national meet in Pittsburg, Kansas, on March 8-10.
