Northwestern Oklahoma Defeats Harding Men's Basketball 82-73

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma had five players finish with 10 or more points and defeated Harding 82-73 Saturday in Great American Conference play at Percefull Fieldhouse.

The win was the 10th in 11 home games for Northwestern, who improved to 14-6 overall and 10-5 in conference games. Harding had a two-game winning streak snapped and fell to 3-17 overall and 3-12 in conference.

Northwestern Oklahoma shot 50 percent (18 of 36) first half, scoring 30 points in the paint, and led 43-30 at halftime. Harding shot 39 percent (12 of 31), with Braden Eggleston scoring 10 points to lead the Bisons in the first half. Eggleston finished with 14 points, as did Reggie Anthony.

Harding committed 13 turnovers in the first half, and Northwestern outscored Harding 15-2 off turnovers.

Harding trailed 46-30 early in the second half, but the Bisons went on a 19-7 run and cut the Rangers lead to 53-49 with 12:46 left on an Alex Francis jumper.

Northwestern answered with 10 straight, including consecutive 3-pointers from A'keem Oglesby, that pushed the Ranger advantage to 63-49.

Northwestern led by at least eight down the stretch.

Zac Ward scored 13 points for Harding, and Tyler Roth added 10.

Greg Minor led the balanced Ranger attack with 19 points.
