SEARCY – The 17th-ranked Harding softball team won two out of three games Saturday over Southern Nazarene in Great American Conference action. The Lady Bisons won the suspended game from Friday 4-3 and then split the scheduled doubleheader winning the first game 1-0 but fell 5-1 in the second. With the win Friday, Harding won the series 3-1.
Harding improves to 23-7 overall and 15-5 in the GAC.
Southern Nazarene falls to 10-18 overall and 7-11 in the GAC.
Game Two of the Series Key Innings (Harding 4, Southern Nazarene 3)
- Harding got on the board first in the first inning when Briley Feringa singled in Madi Trump from second.
- Southern Nazarene tied the game in the fourth off two hits and an error. Kendal Stockstill scored on the Harding error.
- The Lady Bisons answered back with three runs on a hit and two errors in the fourth inning. Madi Trump singled in two Harding runs and Lindsey Duncan scored on a throwing error.
- The Crimson Storm's comeback fell short in the seventh, scoring two runs on two hits. Victoria Rodriguez walked with the bases loaded and Kai Sanchez hit a sacrifice fly. Harding got out of the inning with a ground out to second.

- Harding had four hits with Peyton Mills going 2-for-3.
- Southern Nazarene had nine hits with three players having two.
- Emily Garrett got the win for the Lady Bisons and improves to 7-2. She pitched six innings, gave up one earned run and struck out two. Emma Dwyer received the save with one inning of work. It was her third of the season.
- Mahina Sauer received the loss and falls to 0-3 on the season. She threw three innings, gave up one earned run and had one strikeout.
Game Three of the Series Key Innings (Harding 1, Southern Nazarene 0)
- Harding scored the only run of the game in the second when Briley Feringa hit a sacrifice fly to center that scored Madi Trump.

- Harding had four hits, led by Madison Leggett who went 2-for-3.
- Southern Nazarene had two hits by its seven and eight hitters.
- Emma Dwyer got the complete game shutout. It was her fifth complete game and her third shutout. She did not allow a hit threw four innings. Dwyer walked one and struck out six against 25 batters.
- Katelyn Brown received the loss for Southern Nazarene and falls to 6-10.
Game Four of the Series Key Innings (Southern Nazarene 5, Harding 1)
- Southern Nazarene took a 1-0 lead in the first on two hits. Riley Brown laid down a sacrifice bunt that scored Katelyn Brown.
- Harding tied the game in the second on two hits when Katie Carney hit a single up the middle to score Madison Leggett.
- The Crimson Storm made it 2-1 game in the third when Mahina Sauer laid down a sacrifice bunt that scored Cheyenne Reynolds.
- Southern Nazarene added two more runs in the fifth on three hits.
- The Crimson Storm took a 5-1 lead in the seventh on a hit and an error. Kai Sanchez scored on the Harding error.
Game Four of the Series Key Statistics
- Southern Nazarene had nine hits with Kaley Knox, Katelyn Brown, Mahina Sauer and Cheyenne Reynolds all have two.
- Harding had five hits by five different players.
- Brooke Tate got the win for Southern Nazarene in four innings of work and Katelyn Brown picked up the save.
- Amanda Berry received the loss for Harding and falls to 7-3.
