INDIANAOPLIS, Ind. – The Harding volleyball team defeated No. 17 Colorado School of Mines 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-22) but fell to UINDY 3-1 (25-15, 17-25, 25-22, 25-19) Friday on the first day of the UINDY Tournament.
Harding moves to 4-2 on the season
Colorado School of Mines falls to 4-1 and UINDY improves to 4-2.
COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES MATCH
FIRST SET
Harding took an 8-4 lead early in the first set and went on to win 25-20. The Lady Bisons had 14 kills in the set and hit .344.
SECOND SET
Trailing 13-11, Harding went on a 9-2 run to lead 20-15. The Lady Bisons won the set 25-22. Harding had 14 kills in set.
THIRD SET
Trailing 7-5 in the third set, Harding went on an 8-2 run to lead 13-9. Colorado School of Mines tied the set at 13 after a 4-0 run. The Lady Bisons won the set 25-22. Harding held Colorado School of Mines to hitting .139 in the set.

UINDY MATCH
FIRST SET
UINDY jumped out to a 17-8 lead and won the first set 25-15. UINDY hit .395 in the set and had 18 kills.
SECOND SET
Trailing 4-3 in the second set, Harding went on a 14-3 run to lead 17-8. The Lady Bisons won the set 25-17. Harding had 14 kills with only one hitting error.
THIRD SET
Harding continued its momentum into the third set taking a 4-1 early lead. UINDY battled back to take a 10-9 lead. With the set tied at 22, UINDY scored three straight points to win the set 25-22.
FOURTH SET
UINDY took a 10-7 lead in the fourth set and went on to win 25-19. UINDY had 19 kills and three attack errors in the set.

- Madison Poen captured a double-double with 12 kills and 16 digs. She also had three blocks.
- Zoe Hardin had nine kills and five blocks.
- Taylor Lake had 27 digs for Harding
UINDY
- Katie Furlong had 29 kills and 13 digs to lead UINDY.
- Taylor Jacquay had 18 kills and 11 digs.
- Olivia Martin led the defense with 31 digs.
