MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team swept Arkansas-Monticello 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-22) Tuesday in Great American Conference action.
Harding improves to 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the GAC.
Arkansas-Monticello falls to 4-11 overall and 1-3 in the GAC.
Harding is now 29-1 all-time against Arkansas-Monticello.
FIRST SET
Tied at six in the first set, Harding went on a 7-1 run on four kills to lead 13-7. Arkansas-Monticello battled back with a 4-0 run to pull within two, 13-11. The Lady Bisons answered back with a 9-2 run on six kills to lead 22-13. Harding won the set 25-19. Logan Smith had five kills in the set for the Lady Bisons.
SECOND SET
Trailing 4-3 in the second set, Harding went on a 6-1 run on three kills to lead 9-5. Leading 12-9, the Lady Bisons put the set out of reach when they went on an 8-1 run to lead 20-10. Harding scored the final four points of the set on three Libby Hinton kills to win 25-12. Harding hit .378 in the set led by Libby Hinton who had seven kills.
THIRD SET
Leading 11-10 in the third set, Harding went on a 6-0 run to lead 17-10. Arkansas-Monticello battled back to pull within two, 23-21 but the Lady Bisosn won the set 25-22 off a Logan Smith kill. Harding held Arkansas-Monticello to hitting .000 in the set. Kelli McKinnon had five kills for Harding.

- Logan Smith captured a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs. Libby Hinton added 11 kills and Kelli McKinnon had 10 kills and hit .526.
- Sarah Morehead captured a double-double with 39 assists and 12 digs.
- Katherine Cowart led the defense with 21 digs. Emma Winiger also had a 11 digs.
- Harding hit .229 in the match with 46 kills.
Arkansas-Monticello
- MarKayla Dickie had nine kills for Arkansas-Monticello.
- Leslie Polanco had 13 digs to lead the defense.
- Arkansas-Monticello hit .048 in the match with 20 attack errors.
