SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Harding volleyball team fell to Oklahoma Baptist 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-19) Friday in Great American Conference action.
Harding falls to 15-8 overall and 6-4 in the GAC.
Oklahoma stays in first place in the GAC standings with a 20-4 overall record and a 9-1 conference record.
FIRST SET
Oklahoma Baptist jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first set on four kills. Harding battled back to cut the lead to one, 13-12, on four kills. Oklahoma Baptist answered back with a 4-1 run on three kills to take a 17-13 lead. Leading 22-18, Oklahoma Baptist won the next three points to win the set 25-18. Oklahoma Baptist hit .436 in the set with 19 kills.
SECOND SET
Harding took a 7-3 lead in the second set. Trailing 20-19, Oklahoma Baptist went on a 5-1 run on four kills to lead 24-21. A kill by Malia Leatherland gave Oklahoma Baptist the set, 25-22. Oklahoma Baptist held Harding to hitting .098 in the set and forced nine attack errors.
THIRD SET
Trailing 10-8, Harding went on a 6-0 run on two kills and two blocks to lead 14-10. Trailing 16-13, Oklahoma Baptist went on a 7-1 run on four kills to lead 19-18. Oklahoma Baptist won six of the next seven points to win the set 25-19. Oklahoma Baptist had 16 kills in the set.

- Amber Robin, Ally Stoner, Kelli McKinnon and Logan smith each led Harding with seven kills.
- Katherine Cowart had 17 digs to lead the defense. Logan Smith had 10 digs.
- Harding had 34 kills, 17 attack errors and hit .152 in the match.
Oklahoma Baptist
- Malia Leatherland led Oklahoma Baptist with 19 kills and 11 digs.
- Brenna Holley had 11 kills and four blocks.
- Hayley Daniel had 15 digs to lead the defense.
- Oklahoma Baptist had 49 kills, 15 attack errors and hit .274.
