BETHANY, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team tied Southern Nazarene 1-1 Saturday in Great American Conference action.

Harding moves to 5-7-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the GAC.

Southern Nazarene moves to 2-11-2 overall and 0-8-1 in the GAC.

GOALS

Southern Nazarene 1, Harding 0 – 36th minute – Sydney Davenport found Karsyn Matthews for her third goal of the season.

Harding 1, Southern Nazarene 1 – 54th minute – Nicole Morgan found the back of the net on a goal mouth scramble off a corner kick. It was her second goal of the season.

STATS

Harding had 23 shots, 12 were on goal. Melanie Spurgeon and Grace Ann Green each had four shots for the Lady Bisons.

Southern Nazarene took seven shots, five were on goal. Karsyn Matthews led the Crimson Storm with three shots, all were on goal.

Jessica Woessner played the full 110 minutes in goal for Harding. She had four saves.

Harding will return home for two games next week. The Lady Bisons will host Northwestern Oklahoma Thursday at 7 p.m., on senior night. Then Harding will host Southwestern Oklahoma Saturday at 11 a.m.
