SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team swept Union 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23) Tuesday in non-conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
Harding improves to 11-6 overall and Union falls to 10-7 overall.
FIRST SET
Tied at eight in the first set, Harding went on a 4-0 run on three kills to lead 12-8. Union battled back to tie the set at 20 but Harding won five of the next seven points to win the set 25-22. Harding had 18 kills with Logan Smith having seven.
SECOND SET
Harding jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the set second and then extended its lead to 19-10. Union again battled back and pulled within two, 24-22 but a kill by Ally Stoner gave Harding the set 25-22. The Lady Bisons held Union to hitting .061 in the set and Harding had 17 kills.
THIRD SET
Trailing 12-9, Union went on a 6-2 run on four kills to lead 15-14. The Lady Bulldogs held on to their lead until the end of the set. Trailing 21-20, Harding went on a 3-0 run to lead 23-21. Union answered back with two straight points to tie the set. Back-to-back kills by Logan Smith gave Harding the set 25-23. Logan Smith had six kills in the set.

- Harding was led by Logan Smith who had 16 kills and nine digs.
- Sarah Morehead captured a double-double with 34 assists and 11 digs. She also had six kills.
- Katherine Cowart had 11 digs for Harding.
- Libby Hinton had eight kills and led the Lady Bisons at the net with four blocks.
- Harding hit .194 in the match with 48 kills.
Union
- Union was led by Meghan Delaney who had 17 kills and nine digs.
- Abbie Rahn had 15 digs to lead the defense.
- Union had 18 blocks with Emily Grace Calhoon having five and Kristen Bukowsky added four.
- Union hit .138 in the match with 35 kills.

Harding will travel to Oklahoma this weekend to take on East Central Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Ada and then the Lady Bisons will face Southeastern Oklahoma Saturday in Durant at 10:30 a.m.
