RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team swept Arkansas Tech 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-20) Tuesday in Great American Conference action.
With the win, Harding is tied with Henderson State for fourth place in the GAC standings. The Lady Bisons have already wrapped up a spot in the GAC Tournament held in Hot Springs, Arkansas, November 21-23 but will be fighting for seeding.
Harding improves to 19-9 overall and 10-5 in the GAC.
Arkansas Tech falls to 15-13 overall and 6-7 GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the first set. Arkansas Tech battled back to tie the set at 13. The Lady Bisons answered back with an 11-6 run to win the set 25-19. Harding had 15 kills and forced Arkansas Tech to hitting .130 in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding took a 6-3 lead in the second set. Arkansas Tech fought its way back and pulled within one 15-14. Harding scored the next four points to lead 19-14. Leading 22-21, Harding scored the next three points off two kills to win the set 25-21. The Lady Bisons had 17 kills and hit .222 in the set.
THIRD SET
Harding again took a 6-3 lead in the third set. The set stayed close and with it tied at 19, the Lady Bisons won six of the next seven points to win the set 25-20. Harding held Arkansas Tech to hitting .119 as it forced eight attack errors in the set.

- Kelli McKinnon led Harding with 14 kills and six blocks. She also hit .345.
- Libby Hinton had 11 kills and five blocks.
- Logan Smith had 11 kills and nine digs.
- Harding had 74 digs in the match and was led by Emma Winiger who had a season-high 20 digs. Katherine Cowart added 18 and Kinley Schnell finished with 11.
- Sarah Morehead had 39 assists, seven digs and three blocks.
- Harding had 11 team blocks.
- Harding had 47 kills, 15 attack errors and hit .239.
Arkansas Tech
- Allie Anderson led Arkansas Tech with 11 kills.
- Arkansas Tech had 37 kills, 19 attack errors and hit .134.
