SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team swept Arkansas-Monticello 3-0 (27-25, 25-16, 25-10) Thursday in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
Harding improves to 18-9 overall and 9-5 in the GAC.
Arkansas-Monticello falls to 11-16 overall and 6-8 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Trailing 16-13 in the first set, Harding went on an 8-2 run to lead 21-18. Arkansas-Monticello battled back and took a 25-24 lead. The Lady Bisons won the next three points to win the set 27-25. Harding had 17 kills in the set.
SECOND SET
Trailing 9-8 in the second set, Harding went on a 5-0 run on three kills to lead 13-9. Leading 20-15, the Lady Bisons went on a 5-1 run on three kills to win the set 25-16. Harding had 14 kills in the set and hit .324.
THIRD SET
Leading 4-3 in the third set, Harding went on an 8-2 run to lead 12-5. Leading 12-7, Harding only allowed Arkansas-Monticello to score three more points as it went on to win 25-10. Harding had 12 kills and no attack errors and hit .462 in the set. It held Arkansas-Monticello to hitting -.086.

- Harding had three players in double-figure kills in the match. Kelli McKinnon led the Lady Bisons with 12 kills and hit .478. Libby Hinton had 11 kills, hit .625 and had seven blocks. Logan Smith captured a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs.
- Sarah Morehead had 32 assists for Harding.
- Harding had 10 blocks in the match.
- The Lady Bisons had 43 kills, eight attack errors and hit .337.
Arkansas-Monticello
- MarKayla Dickie led Arkansas-Monticello with nine kills.

Harding will play its final two regular season matches next week on the road. The Lady Bisons will travel to Arkansas Tech Tuesday and then travel to Henderson State on Thursday. Both matches start at 6 p.m.
