Ramos Scores Twice, Harding Men's Soccer Blanks Southern Nazarene

Box Score BETHANY, Okla. – Harding senior Christian Ramos scored goals in each half and senior Jeremy Nwonumah added a late goal to give the Bisons a 3-0 victory over Southern Nazarene in Great American Conference play Saturday.

The victory moves Harding to 3-1-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the GAC. The Bisons are 3-0 on the road to start a season for the first time in program history. Southern Nazarene dropped its fourth straight at home and fell to 1-5-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference.

Ramos's pair of goals gave him a team-leading five for the season. His second goal Saturday came on a penalty kick and was his fourth penalty kick goal this year. Now with 22 career goals, Ramos is second all-time among Harding men's soccer players. Nwonumah's goal was his first of the season.

Harding goalkeeper Carlos Calderon posted his second shutout of the season.

The Bisons return to Searcy to host Newman in GAC action Thursday at 7 p.m.
