CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Harding women's soccer team tied Delta State 1-1 in double-overtime Saturday in non-conference action.

The Lady Bisons move to 1-4-1 on the season.

Delta State moves to 0-1-3 on the season.

GOALS

Delta State 1, Harding 0 – 19th minute – Diana Okechukwu found the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Harding 1, Delta State 1 – 24th minute – Emily Easterling found Samantha Rupe for her first career goal.

STATS

Delta State took 17 shots, 10 were on goal. Casey LaFontaine had five shots to lead Delta State, two were on goal.

Harding had 12 shots, nine were on goal. Melanie Spurgeon took six shots, five were on goal for the Lady Bisons.

Jessia Woessner played the full 110 minutes in goal for Harding and had nine saves.

Emma Welch played the full 110 minutes for Harding.

Harding had three shots in the two overtimes. Delta State had two in the first overtime.

Delta State had seven corner kicks in the game.
