Harding Men's Tennis Blanks Hendrix to Remain Undefeated

CONWAY, Ark. – Using a lineup made up entirely of players making their season dual match debuts, Harding men's tennis cruised to a 9-0 victory over NCAA Division III Hendrix Wednesday indoors at the Hatcher Tennis Center.

Harding lost only six games in sweeping the three doubles matches, and won all six singles matches in straight sets.

The debuts included the first collegiate singles victories for freshman Balazs Balassa, sophomore Matthew Mihalko, freshman James Moore and freshman Ricardo Rodrigues. Sophomore Diego Pierola played No. 1 singles and won his fifth straight singles match, including his fall tournament matches.

With the victory, Harding improved to 4-0 overall and takes on Rhodes, another NCAA Division III opponent, Friday in Conway.
