Harding Women's Tennis Breezes to 9-0 Win at Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. – Harding women's tennis cruised to a 9-0 victory Thursday against NCAA Division III opponent Hendrix indoors at the Hatcher Tennis Center.

The victory moved Harding to 2-3 overall, while Hendrix fell to 0-2.

Harding won all three doubles matches and clinched the team victory with Ashley Nilsson's 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles. Harding lost only two games in the six singles matches.

Harding's next action is Saturday against Montevallo, an NCAA Division II team and member of the Gulf South Conference. Former Harding player Arielle Butler is Montevallo's assistant coach. The match will be played in Memphis, Tennessee.
