Harding Women's Tennis Falls 4-3 to Montevallo

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – Harding women's tennis lost the doubles point and came up one match short in a 4-3 loss to Montevallo Saturday in non-conference women's tennis action at Snowden Grove Tennis Center.

Montevallo pulled out a 7-6 victory at No. 1 doubles to clinch the doubles point.

Harding battled back with singles wins by Rylie Cox Evans at No. 1, Hana Folse at No. 2 and Ashley Nilsson at No. 6. Evans improved to 6-6 overall. Folse's win was the 40th of her career, and Nilsson won her third straight.

The loss dropped Harding to 2-4 overall. Montevallo moved to 2-0.

Harding plays again next Friday at Drury in Springfield, Missouri.
