ALVA, Okla. – The Harding volleyball team had four players in double-figure kills as it defeated Northwestern Oklahoma 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-18) Saturday in Great American Conference action.
Harding improves to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in the GAC.
Northwestern Oklahoma falls to 6-15 overall and 2-7 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding took a 7-4 early lead in the first set. Northwestern Oklahoma answered back with a 7-1 run to lead 11-8. Leading 13-11, the Rangers went on a 6-1 run on three kills to lead 19-12. A Northwestern Oklahoma block gave the Rangers the set 25-18. Harding had 11 attack errors in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding answered back in the second set jumping out to a 11-4 lead. Northwestern Oklahoma then went on a 6-1 run to trail 12-10. Tied at 19, the Lady Bisons won the set 25-22 with a 6-3 run. Harding had 15 kills with Libby Hinton having six.
THIRD SET
Trailing 3-1, Harding went on a 10-4 run on four kills to lead 11-7. Northwestern Oklahoma fought back and pulled within one 17-16. Leading 23-20, Harding had a kill by Logan Smith and an ace by Emma Winiger to win the set 25-20. Harding had 13 kills with Logan Smith having six. The Lady Bisons had 22 digs in the set.
FOURTH SET
Tied at nine, Harding went on a 9-4 run on nine kills to lead 18-13. The Lady Bisons went on to win the set 25-18. Harding had 17 kills in the set with Ally Stoner having six.

- Harding had 59 kills, 22 attack errors and hit .222.
- Ally Stoner led the Lady Bisons with 15 kills, Logan Smith had 14, Libby Hinton had 13 and Kelli McKinnon had 10.
- Smith also led the defense with 21 of Harding's 83 digs. Sarah Morehead and Emma Winiger each had 15 digs and Kinley Schnell had 12 digs.
Northwestern Oklahoma
- Northwestern Oklahoma had 52 kills, 21 attack errors and hit .195.
- Kaydee Honeycutt led the Rangers with 21 kills.
- Addison Wimmer captured a double-double with 16 kills and 24 digs.
