Harding Men's Tennis Drops Nonconference Matchup at Ouachita

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Harding men's tennis team dropped their second match in as many days at the Ward Tennis Center in Arkadelphia, falling to 4-2 to Ouachita Baptist in a nonconference matchup. Harding (2-2) won the doubles point for the third time in four matches this season, but junior Alvaro de Lorenzo won the lone singles point for the Bisons.
 
Diego Pierola and Milosh Petrovic won 6-4 at No.3 in their first match playing together. Dani Ortiz and Arthur Bellan secured the doubles point with their third victory of the season, winning 7-6 at No. 1.
 
After dropping the first two singles matches, de Lorenzo captured his 30th career win, 7-6, 6-2, at No. 4. Ortiz's 6-4, 6-4 loss snapped his 10-match win streak. Senior Morgan Salvan and junior Arthur Bellan both fell in tight three-set matches at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
 
The Bisons will return to action March 11 when they host Texas A&M-Texarkana in their first home match of the season at 1 p.m.
