Harding Men's Track Wins Six Events at Hendrix; Places Second

CONWAY, Ark. – Harding men's track and field placed second at the Hendrix Invitational Sunday, finishing with 186 points. Southern Arkansas won with 272, and Rhodes placed third with 74 points.

Harding won six event titles, all in track events. Freshman Tad Kirby won the 200 meters in 22.04, the seventh-fastest time this season in Division II.

Freshman Fallou Gaye won the 400 meters in 48.81 and ran the anchor leg on Harding's 4x400 relay team that won in 3:18.88.

Freshman Dylan Douglas won the 1,500 meters in 4:00.81. Douglas was also second in the 800 (1:59.47).

Harding won both hurdles races. Freshman Dakarai Bush won the 110-meter hurdles in a personal-best 15.17 and was the lead leg on the 4x400 relay.

Freshman Nikolasz Csokas ran the second fastest Division II time this season in the 400 hurdles, winning in 54.37.

Freshman Cedric Gable placed second in the high jump (1.67 meters), long jump (6.18 meters) and triple jump (12.65 meters).
