SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team defeat Ouachita Baptist 1-0 Tuesday in Great American Conference action. It was the Lady Bisons' season and conference opener.

Harding improves to 1-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the GAC.

Ouachita Baptist falls to 5-2-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the GAC.

GOALS

Harding 1, Ouachita Baptist 0 – 72nd minute – Parker Smitherman found Briley-Anne Brown for her first collegiate goal.

STATS

Harding took 10 shots, six were on goal.

Ouachita Baptist took 16 shots, six were on goal.

Bethanie Dixon and Jenni Nadeau combined for the shutout in the net for Harding.
