The Harding women's tennis team dropped their second match of match of the season, falling 4-3 to Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Missouri on Friday. The Lady Bisons last lost on January 29 in the first match of the season, losing to Texas-Tyler 5-2.

Romane Britt and
Lindy Carpenter won their third straight doubles match 6-2 to start the day for the Lady Bisons. After a loss at No. 3 doubles,
Rylie Cox Evans and
Emily Carpenter secured the doubles point with their fifth straight victory 7-6.

After dropping the doubles point, the Griffons went on to win the first four singles matches to secure the match victory. All four losses for the Lady Bisons came in straight sets. Britt and
Allison Carpenter won the final two singles matches to bring the final score to 4-3.

Britt won her seventh straight match, continuing her perfect start to her career.
Allison Carpenter won her fourth straight match at No. 6, in a tight three sets.

The Lady Bisons will look to bounce back on Saturday in Maryville, Missouri when they visit Northwest Missouri State at 1:00 p.m.
