Women’s Soccer Ties Northwestern Oklahoma in Double Overtime

ENID, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team tied Northwestern Oklahoma 0-0 in Great American Conference action Tuesday in double overtime.

Due to weather in Alva, Oklahoma, the game was moved to Enid High School in Enid, Oklahoma.

Harding moves to 1-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the GAC.

Northwestern Oklahoma moves to 0-3-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the GAC.

STATS

Harding took 18 shots, nine were on goal. Parker Smitherman took four shots, two were on goal for the Lady Bisons.

Northwestern Oklahoma took 10 shots, eight were on goal. Alyssa Nunez had three shots on goal for the Rangers.

Bethanie Dixon started the game in goal and played the first half and overtime minutes for Harding. Jenni Nadeau played the second half in goal.

Emily Easterling, Samantha Rupe and Veagan Jones all played the full 110 minutes for Harding.

UP NEXT

Harding will continue GAC action Saturday when it travels to Ada, Oklahoma to take on East Central. Kickoff is at 11 a.m.
