BETHANY, Okla. – The Harding softball team fell 12-3 in five innings at Southern Nazarene Friday in Great American Conference action.

Harding falls to 15-5 overall and 8-4 in the GAC.

Southern Nazarene improves to 11-13 overall and 9-6 in the GAC.

Key Innings

-         B1 – Southern Nazarene scored six runs on four hits in the inning, including three homeruns (Southern Nazarene 6, Harding 0)

-         B2 – Caitlyn Curlee hit a two-run home run to left center (Southern Nazarene 8, Harding 0)

-         B4 – Southern Nazarene scored four runs on five hits. The inning was highlighted by Brooklyn Sparkman who singled to right that scored two. (Southern Nazarene 12, Harding 0)

-         T5 – Harding scored three runs on four hits and an error. Hanna Jones highlighted the inning with a two-run home run to left field. It was her third on the year. Ashton Bryce drove in the other run when she hit single to the shortstop. (Southern Nazarene 12, Harding 3)

-         Southern Nazarene had 10 hits with three players having two.

-         Harding had eight hits with Hanna Jones and Ashton Bryce each having two.

-         The Lady Bisons left eight runners on base.

-         Brooklyn Sparkman got the win for Southern Nazarene to improve to 7-6. She pitched four innings of relief and had two strikeouts.

-         Lily Tanski received the loss for Harding and falls to 10-3 on the season.
