SEARCY – The Harding softball team dropped both games of the Great American Conference doubleheader to Ouachita Baptist Saturday at the HU Softball Field. The Tigers won 5-2 in the first game and 9-3 in the second game.
Harding falls to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the GAC.
Ouachita Baptist improves to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the GAC.
Game One Key Innings (Ouachita Baptist 5, Harding 2)
- B1 – Amanda Fields gave Harding the lead with a ground out RBI (Harding 1 , Ouachita Baptist 0)
- T6 – Callie Jourdan and Kendyl Dockter both drove in a run for Ouachita Baptist. (Ouachita Baptist 2, Harding 1)
- B6 – Jordan Cabana hit a single that scored Hannah Garrett from second (Harding 2, Ouachita Baptist 2)

- Harding had nine hits led by Briley Feringa and Jordan Cabana who each had two.
- Madison Miller got the win for Ouachita Baptist to improve to 3-1. She went the distance and gave up two earned runs.
- Lily Tanski received the loss and falls to 2-1 overall.

- Madison Miller got the win for Ouachita Baptist in 6 2/3 innings of relief.
- Jenna Hipp received the loss for Harding and falls to 1-1 on the season.
