Track Bisons Win Rhodes 7-Way Meet

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Harding men's track and field defeated six other teams Saturday, winning the Rhodes 7-Way Meet by over 100 points. The Bisons compiled 220 points with Rhodes second at 113.

The highlights for the Bisons came in the field events where junior Alex Hindman won the pole vault with an NCAA provisional height of 4.82 meters or 15 feet, 9.75 inches. Senior Mitchell Kessler also had a provisional mark in the hammer with a throw of 59.60 meters (195-6).

Harding had two event victories in the running events. Freshman Tad Kirby won the 200 in 21.75, and Fallou Gay won the 400 in 48.05.

Harding's next action comes on April 15-17 at the Great American Conference Championships in Magnolia, Arkansas.
