SEARCY, Ark. – Freshman Elliott Bracy scored with less than a minute left in the game to give Harding a 1-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist in the last of six spring GAC/MIAA games played by the Bisons.
Harding concluded its spring season with a 2-3-1 record. Ouachita Baptist was 1-5 in its GAC/MIAA games.
The teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half, combining for only three shots on goal. Ouachita's lone shot on goal came from Jordan Ebon in the 21st minute with Harding goalkeeper Jared Nitz making the save.
Ouachita goalkeeper Matt Day made two early saves on shots by Tyler Guentz in the second minute and Nawn Thang in the sixth minute.
Ouachita managed only one more shot on goal in the second half with Nitz making the save on David Stankovic's attempt in the 74th minute.
A red card to Ouachita's Max Kenyan in the 86th minute left the Tigers a man down and provided the opportunity Harding needed for the game's only goal.
The goal came from Bracy four minutes later on a feed from Wissem Obied, his first assist of the season.
Day saved three previous shots on goal by the Bisons in the second half with one coming from Thang and two from Georgios Petousis within a 12-minute span late in the period.
Harding outshot Ouachita 15-8 overall and had 10 corners to the Tigers' two.
