Harding Men's Cross-Country Victorious in Home Meet

SEARCY, Ark. -- The Harding men's cross-country team won the inaugural Steve Guymon Invitational Friday night at the Harding Cross-Country Course. This victory is the second straight for the Bisons, their win last weekend at the Bob Gravett Invitational.
 
Harding finished with 30 points. Ouachita Baptist was second with 38 points. Harding had the top three finishers and seven in the top 22.
 
Harding was once again led by freshman Luke Walling with a time of 20 minutes, 25.8 seconds over the four-mile course. He was followed by senior Dylan Douglas with a time of 20:25.9 and sophomore Jackson Pruim rounded out the top three in 20:40.3. Freshman Dylan Mayberry finished sixth in 21:17.0 with sophomore Matt Ingalsbe 19th in 22:11.1.
 
Harding's next meet is the Chile Pepper Festival on October 2 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
