Box Score The Harding men's soccer team dropped their second Great American Conference match on Saturday at Southern Nazarene, falling 1-0. Harding fell to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in GAC play while Southern Nazarene improved to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in conference.
After a scoreless first half, the Crimson Storm scored the lone goal of the match in the 64th minute when Daniel Trojman scored his second goal of the season, assisted from Angel Lopez. It was Lopez's fifth assist of the year.
Southern Nazarene outshot the Bisons 24-7 overall and 5-3 shots on goal. Harding was led by
Elliott Bracy and
Andrew Wagner both with two shots and one shot on goal.
Jared Nitz made his first start of the season for the Bisons and gave up one goal and recorded four saves.
Nitz,
Donnell Bowes,
Georgios Petousis,
Adrian Renteria,
Joseph Terry,
Tyler Sterbenz, and
Manny Fadel all played the full 90 minutes for the Bisons.
The Bisons will return to action next Thursday, September 30 when they travel to Wichita, Kansas to take on Newman at 7 p.m.
