SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team stayed perfect in Great American Conference action Tuesday after defeating Arkansas-Monticello 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-16) at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
The Lady Bisons have won sixth straight matches dating back to September 10.
Harding improves to 8-3 on the season and 4-0 in the GAC.
Arkansas-Monticello falls to 6-9 overall and 1-3 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Trailing 2-0 in the first set, Harding went on a 12-4 run on four kills and three aces to lead 12-6. The Lady Bisons went on to win the set 25-15. Harding had 13 kills in the set and held the Blossoms to hitting -.100 with eight attack errors.
SECOND SET
Trailing 8-6 in the second set, Harding went on a 6-0 run on three kills to lead 12-8. Arkansas-Monticello battled back to cut the lead to one, 18-17 but Harding scored seven of the next nine points to win the set 25-19. Harding had 14 kills with Libby Hinton, Logan Smith and Chloe Ingersoll each having three.
THIRD SET
Trailing 4-3 in the third set, Harding went on an 8-1 run on six kills to lead 11-5. Arkansas-Monticello again battled back to cut the lead to one, 15-14. After a Harding timeout, the Lady Bisons won 10 of the next 12 points to win the set 25-16. Harding had 14 kills and hit .250 in the set. Sarah Morehead and Libby Hinton each had four kills.

Arkansas-Monticello
- Arkansas-Monticello had 25 kills, 21 attack errors and hit .034.
- Victoria Hamilton and Riley Krenek led the Blossoms with six kills.
- Amanda Toyota led the defense with 19 digs.

Harding will be back in action Thursday when it travels to Russellville, Arkansas to take on Arkansas Tech at 6 p.m.
