SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Texas Woman's Saturday in its home opener.

Harding falls to 0-2-0 on the season and Texas Woman's improves to 1-0-1.

GOALS

Texas Woman's 1, Harding 0 – 8th minute – McKenzie Rizqi sent a through ball up the right side to Alyssa Simien who beat the keeper for her first goal of the season.

Texas Woman's 2, Harding 0 – 68th minute – Holly Keil sent a cross from the left to right that found the head of Keely Chapman who scored her first goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took five shots, two were on goal. All of the Lady Bisons' shots came by five different players.

Texas Woman's took 13 shots and seven were on goal. Alyssa Simien led the team with four shots.

Michaela Potter made five saves for Harding. Potter and Emma Roberts both played the full 90 minutes.

Harding will play its second of a five-game home stand Monday when it hosts Ozarks at 6 p.m., at the Stevens Soccer Complex.
