Harding Men's Soccer Falls 2-0 at Northeastern State

Box Score TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State scored two goals just over four minutes apart early in the first half Thursday and defeated Harding 2-0 in GAC/MIAA men's soccer action.

It was the seventh time Harding was shut out this season and snapped a streak of four straight games the Bisons scored at least one goal.

Harding fell to 3-10-2 overall and 3-5-2 in conference. The Bisons have 11 points in the conference standings and remain in fifth place. The top four teams qualify for the conference tournament.

Harding has two remaining regular season games, both on the road. The Bisons are at Rogers State on Saturday and at Ouachita Baptist the following Saturday.

Northeastern State (8-4-2, 5-3-1) posted its seventh shutout and received goals from Flynn Semmerling, his 12th and 13th of the season, in the 11th and 15th minutes.

Northeastern State has 16 points and is in fourth place in the conference standings.
