Harding Men's Basketball Wins Second Straight in Puerto Rico

Box Score SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Taylor Currie scored 23 points and Ramiro Santiago added 17 to lead Harding to an 83-65 victory over Puerto Rico-Bayamon on the second day of the 2022 Puerto Rico Clasico.

Harding shot 63% in the first half and led 45-29 at the break. The Bisons cooled off a bit in the second half but finished at 52% from the field. Harding made six 3-pointers, including four from Santiago. Robert Chougkas came off the bench to score 11 points.

Harding limited Bayamon to only 31% shooting and only 6 of 23 from 3-point range.

The Bisons return to action Tuesday in its home opener against Crowley's Ridge College. Tipoff at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House is at 7:30 p.m.
