The Harding men's tennis finished their four-match weekend in Texas with a 5-2 win over Collin College on Sunday morning. Harding is now 4-0 all-time against Collin College. The Bisons improve to 6-0 on the year while Collin College falls to 3-2.
After dropping the No. 1 doubles match, the Bisons responded by winning the final two matches and securing the doubles point.
Arthur Bellan and
Dani Ortiz won their fifth straight match of the season with a 6-4 victory at No. 2.
Milosh Petrovic and
Cas de Ruiter also picked up their fifth straight win at No. 3, 7-5.
Petrovic finished the first singles match of the day, winning 7-5, 6-3 at No. 6.
Morgan Salvan also won a straight-set match at No. 3, winning 6-2, 7-6. Ortiz clinched the match for the Bisons at No. 1 with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory.
Bryce Walker picked up the fifth and final point for Harding with a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 5.
The Bisons will look to continue their hot start next Friday February 25 against Seward County in Magnolia beginning at 9 a.m.
