The No. 39-ranked women's tennis team completed their second comeback in as many days with a 4-3 win over Southwest Baptist at the Elliott Tennis Complex on Sunday. Harding pushed their winning streak to seven and improved to 10-3 on the year while Southwest Baptist fell to 2-6.

Harding dropped the doubles point for only the fourth time this season to start the match.
Emily Carpenter and
Allison Jenkins won their third match as a pair at No. 3, 6-2 before Southwest Baptist took No. 1 and No. 2 and went up 1-0.

Allison Carpenter won her fourth straight match at No. 6, 6-1, 6-0 to get the Lady Bisons on the board and tie the match at 1.
Romane Britt won her team-leading 16
th match of the season 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3. Southwest Baptist bounced back with a win at No. 4, but
Lindy Carpenter won 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 at No. 5.
Lindy Carpenter is now 7-0 at No. 5 this season.

Needing to win just one of the remaining two matches, Harding dropped the match at No. 1 and moved to the No. 2 court to decide the match.
Lina Romero battled in a tight match at No. 2 and took the match 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 to clinch the win for the Lady Bisons.

The Lady Bisons will return to action on Thursday March 17 when they host Auburn-Montgomery in their fifth straight home match, beginning at 10 a.m.
