The No. 33-ranked Harding women's tennis team defeated Arkansas-Fort Smith 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Elliott Tennis Complex. Harding improved to 11-4 on the season while Arkansas-Fort Smith fell to 1-7.

Allison Carpenter and
Grace Dodd won their sixth match of the season 6-1 at No. 1.
Romane Britt and
Lindy Carpenter won 6-0 at No. 3 to clinch the doubles point and put the Lady Bisons up 1-0 early.

Lindy Carpenter made quick work of her opponent at No. 4, grabbing her team-leading 11
th victory in a dual match, winning 6-0, 6-3.
Allison Carpenter moved to 6-0 at No. 5 this season with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Emily Carpenter clinched the match with another straight-set victory for the Lady Bisons, winning 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3.

Lina Romero picked up her first win at No. 1 of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win to push the Lady Bisons lead to 5-0. Britt picked up the final point for the Lady Bisons with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2.

The Lady Bisons will finish their seven-match homestand on Sunday (March 27) when they host McKendree at 1 p.m.
