In a rematch of the 2021 GAC Championship, the No. 34 Harding women's tennis team (16-4, 4-0) came from behind to defeat No. 41 Southeastern Oklahoma State (14-6, 2-1) 4-3 at the Elliott Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon.
Lina Romero clinched the match at No. 2 with 7-6, 2-6, 6-2 win. The Lady Bisons have now won four straight matches over the Savage Storm.

The Lady Bisons jumped out to the 1-0 after doubles action for the third straight match.
Romane Britt and
Lindy Carpenter improved to 10-5 in dual matches this season with a 6-2 win at No. 2. Southeastern Oklahoma State bounced back with their own 6-2 victory at No. 3.
Allison Carpenter and
Grace Dodd secured the first point of the match with a 6-4 win at No. 1.

Allison Carpenter won her eighth straight match and improved to 6-0 at No. 6 this season with a 6-3, 6-1 victory. The Savage Storm came thundering back with three three-set wins at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 3 to put them one match away from the victory.

Dodd leveled the match at three with her 14
th victory of the season, a hard-fought 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1. Romero won her first set in a tiebreaker before dropping the second set and eventually taking the match in three. Romero improves to 4-0 in GAC matches.

The Lady Bisons will look to clinch the GAC Regular Season Championship on Friday (April 15) when they travel to Russellville to take on Arkansas Tech. The Lady Bisons defeated the Golden Suns earlier this season 5-2 in a non-conference matchup.
