SEARCY – The Harding softball team was ranked eighth in the first NCAA Central Regional Rankings Wednesday. It is the first time since 2019 the Lady Bisons have been regionally ranked.

Harding has a 32-16 overall record with all games being against in region opponents.

Wednesday's rankings were the first of three released before the announcement of the 64-team NCAA Division II Tournament on Monday, May 9.

Harding is joined by Southern Arkansas and Arkansas Tech from the Great American Conference in the regional rankings.
