SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team stayed perfect in Great American Conference action Tuesday after defeating Southern Arkansas 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 25-15, 25-14) at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House. With the win, Lady Bisons extended their winning streak to 12 matches.
Harding improves to 14-1 on the season and is 4-0 in GAC action.
Southern Arkansas falls to 2-12 overall and 1-3 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Tied at 24 in the first set, Harding had back-to-back kills to win the set 26-24. Neither team hit well in the set as the Lady Bisons hit .037 and Southern Arkansas hit .043.
SECOND SET
Trailing 15-12 in the second set, Southern Arkansas had four straight kills to lead 16-15. Harding answered back with three kills and an ace to lead 19-16. Harding had set point 24-22 after a Kelli McKinnon kill by the Muleriders scored four straight points to win 26-24. Southern Arkansas had 16 kills in the set.
THIRD SET
Harding jumped out to a 9-4 lead in the in the third set and went on to win the set 25-15. The Lady Bisons had 13 kills and hit .370 in the set.
FOURTH SET
The fourth set stayed close until midway through. Leading 10-9, Harding went on a 15-5 run on eight kills to win the set 25-14. Harding forced Southern Arkansas to eight attack errors in the set.

- Harding had 49 kills and hit a season-low .136 in the match.
- Kelli McKinnon led the Lady Bisons with 12 kills. Libby Hinton also got in double-figure kills with 10.
- Harding had 77 digs in the match with four players in double-figures. Emma Winiger led the Lady Bisons with 18 digs. Kinley Schnell also had 16 digs, Grecia Soriano had 13 digs and Logan Smith had 10.
- Harding tied a season-high with 13 aces. Soriano and Schnell led the Lady Bisons with each having five aces. It was a career high for Soriano and it tied a career-high for Schnell.

- Southern Arkansas had 42 kills and hit .093 in the match.
- Ava Tanner led the Muleriders with 10 kills.
- Southern Arkansas had 73 digs and was led by Landry Rogers who had 18.
